We are arranging a short, non-credit course at Parkland College to learn
the fundamentals of operating machine tools, mills, and lathes. The
course will consist mostly of learn-by-doing instruction on the mills
and lathes in the Parkland machine shop. This will also give us an
opportunity to manufacture some prototype parts for the next version of
the EC3 as well as replacements for the broken Twike EZ in Matt's garage.

The course will cost $345 per person and we will meet for a total of 60
hours over the next 6 weeks. We are trying to arrange for evening hours,
in the 6-9pm range, on 3 of the first 4 days of the week. Parkland is
closed Fri.-Sun. We will hopefully start next week, but may have to
delay until the following week.

We need to fill 10 seats. If you or any one else you know of might have
an interest, please let me know.

Dave, Matt mentioned that you have contacts in the FabLabs. Could you
please make them aware of this?

Best,

Bryan
