-General Membership Meeting Oct. 9 at 2pm
  -need to send announcement
  -email and snail mail
  -Durl will generate announcement
  -agenda must be proposed for GMM 14 days before mtg.
  -potential board candidates must be announced 7 days in advance
  -need minimum 5 board members

-Discussion of lists of IMC members, outstanding members,contacts, etc.
  -need to solidify - who is member, who decides board members?
  -consensus that those who vote should be loosely-defined "members"

-Leon's report for next year's repairs
-will craft proposal for repair and put out call for volunteers
  -make internet network infrastructure cables more secure
  -pigeon eviction notices need to be posted
  -railings for south stairs
  -paint repair
  -clean up northwest hallway
  -insulating windows/doors
-$10,000 budget for maintenance last year
-spent $16,000 on steps repair last year
-Oct-Nov need to budget for future year's repairs

-Discussion of fridge issue
  -April 7, 2011 steering minutes reflects decision that shows uses large
fridge, others use small fridge
  -suggestion shows/Americorps discuss fridge issue and bring new proposal
at Oct. 6 steering meeting
