[Imc-makerspace] Calling all working groups: IMC Programming Committee meeting Sat 1-3 @ IMC

Hey Makerspace, can you send someone? (This is following up on Gary's
announcement last week).

*The programming committee will be meeting tomorrow, Saturday 1-3 to
discuss opportunities for collaboration*, changes in WRFU that allow all
IMC members to be on the air,  a proposed drone workshop for the Allied
Media Conference, and a proposal for people to earn membership through
sweat equity.  Detailed agenda below.

Working groups please send at least one person to this meeting so we can
coordinate and collaborate!

Sunroom

 1. Introductions – Name, Affiliation, Interests – 10 mins

 2. Brief review of the Programming Committee’s purposes – Gary - 5 mins

 3. Reports from Working Groups: Recent accomplishments? Future projects?
 Opportunities for collaboration with others? – 15 mins

 4.  Sweaty equity membership proposal.– Danielle – 10 mins
      Seeking feedback before board approval.

 6. We have a radio station! How can we all make use of it? – Danielle – 15
mins
      All IMC members have access to RFU once trained- there is no longer
separate WRFU membership.
      Is there content the working groups could share on the radio?

7. “How to organize your community against Drone surveillance” - a workshop
proposal for the Allied Media Conference – DC & BD– 15 mins

8. Other proposals for collaboration. Events, grants, etc.  – 30 mins

9. Next steps? – Gary 15 mins

                  Recruiting wider participation.  Frequency and time of
meetings.
                  Subgroups with specific tasks. Review commitments.
