Stuart Dixon - Proposal for Hacker Spaces - will begin meeting with Tech
group, Tuesdays at 6pm.

Books to Prisoners recently won the governors hometown award.  Part of the
award is a huge road sign - would like to display above the Elm Street Door,
by parking lot.  Judith to connect with Chris Hampson, Mike Lehman and
Danielle re: signage rules in Urbana.

Building a new library / archival space: Chris Ritzo and Meme
Chris and Beth have secured a donation from the estate of Barbara Vogel,
prominent person in the field of cybernetics, who has connections to SDAS /
IMC.  Want to make a new and larger library space, the current library could
become a computer lab.  Plan is to put up shelving along walls on opposite
side of stage (south wall) along 3 sides - no shelving will block any
windows, one larger free standing bookcase may be built to section space
off.  Concensus to put new shelves on the walls and put new books into the
space.

Meme - TIFF project - the IMC can get somce property tax back from the city,
about $26,000 that can ONLY be used on exterior building projects.
Consensus that  top 2 priorities are access ramps and window restoration.

Carly - internships - 13 U of I students have applied for internships at the
IMC for spring semester...plus another 18 students will volunteer regularly
through a community involvement course.  Katy, Carly, Nicole and Chris Ritzo
will supervise, but there is more than enough interest for all working
groups to have interns...if anyone else is intersted, please let us know.
There is a new tab on website for internship postings -  if you would like
to add a position, please let Carly know.
