Here are some stories that Aaron is interested in getting scripts for. He
is also VERY INTERESTED in other story ideas so you should think seriously
about stories you've already produced for past IMC news-hours as well as
ones that you could produce from audio you already have. Send 1-paragraph
ideas to me ASAP and I'll forward them along.

Hi Sascah,
Sorry for not getting back to you immediately.
I picked out four stories from the list you sent. They are below. I'll
look for the police violence in Brazil first by Wednesday if possible,
since it would be good to run it while Genoa is still fresh in people's
minds. After that, we can touch base for the other stories.
Generally speaking, we are seeking stories along the lines of the migrant
worker story you pitched. The changing face of Agriculture in the mid-west,
etc. I believe you told me earlier that you were working on a story about
consolidation in the dairy sector. That's a good story, too for us.
Best,
Aaron
2. Brazilian business's response to the energy crisis -- the newfound
efficiency of Brazil's corporations;
3. Police violence and corruption in Brazil -- parallels between U.S. and
Brazilian police tactics;
4. Migrant workers in Champaign-Urbana -- a case study of one worker's
experiences in the "new economy";
5. Working in favelas (shantytowns) -- interviews with employees of Viva
Rio, the largest NGO in Brazil, and their experiences working in Rio de
Janeiro's shantytowns, and critiques from anarchists who are working with
residents in these same favelas.
