[Imc-newsroom] Coverage of Equity Process by CARE-3

this is an incredibly important opportunity for community outreach and one
that we should definitely be putting our best foot forward on.  would
somebody be willing to coordinate this (i'll help with the effort, but
i'd rather not mix hats too much).
