Amira Millicent Davis called me today about an IMC person who might document
a forum on African American parents' and students' experiences in the
Champaign Schools, scheduled for tonight at the NAACP office, 310 E Bradley.
She's interested in a video documentary; I got enough good audio on Aug 11
at Douglas Park for a news hour feature, probably for this Monday. I have a
conflict tonight, otherwise I'd go and get audio. Brian Hagy has probable
conflict, otherwise he's interested. He mentioned you just got a camera? The
sponsoring group, CARE-3, is meeting right now about it. There were some
doubts about how much they actually have together for tonight.
