Yikes! These folks are big and nasty. They're a centerpoint for corporate
globalization, hosting people like Henry Kissinger and the director-general
of the WTO. Go here to see thier press releases and join their media

If you'd like to attend as a member of the press, fax your credentials (a

The panel of trade experts will analyze the prospects for implementation in
2005 of the Free Trade Area of the Americas (FTAA), which would incorporate
34 countries and cover an area of nearly 800 million people, accounting for
more than $11 trillion in GDP in 2000. The discussion will include the
challenges involved in doing business in the current climate and in
concluding the negotiations. Key issues include Brazil's concerns, the
likelihood that President Bush will get trade promotion (formerly "fast
track) authority, and the marketability of FTAA to the American and Latin
American public.
