*** TONIGHT -- PLEASE FORWARD ***

Hi all,

Just a quick reminder, tonight at 6p.m. the Urbana-Champaign IMC will be
hosting a screening and discussion of a new video documentary produced by
IMC Palestine journalists of the Israeli occupation of Palestine. Our
discussant is on the final leg of his trip down from Chicago and will be
present to answer questions and facilitate discussion.

Light refreshments will be served.

The Urbana-Champaign IMC is located at:

218 West Main Street
Urbana, IL 61801

BACKGROUND:

Come see footage the mainstream media ignored (including on-the-streets
documentation of atrocities against civilian populations). IMC Palestine
volunteers captured many aspects of the most recent Israeli occupation on
video. Risking their lives, they snuck behind Israeli lines; and while
the mainstream media were busy getting their information from official
Israeli army spokespeople, IMC journalists were talking with people on the
streets of occupied Palestine and recording events, as they unfolded, from
the Middle East.

As part of the effort to disseminate truthful accounts of what happened,
over half-a-dozen IMCs throughout the midwest have joined together to host
a tour of these documentaries. One of the videographers of this
documentary will be driving in from California to be at the screening and
will be available for an after-screening discussion of his experiences as
an Indy-Journalist in Palestine.

Contact Myles <myles at anacroatan.org> or Sascha <sascha at ucimc.org> or call
the IMC -- 344-8820 for more information. The screening is a fundraiser
for both IMC Palestine and the Urbana-Champaign IMC and donations will be
accepted at the door.

Help spread the word,
