Winfield’s Criterium VII Bicycle Races!

Main Street Winfield, Inc. and Athletes by Design (ABD) bicycle team are pleased to present Winfield’s Criterium VII Bicycle Races that will take place throughout village streets on Saturday, August 26th and Sunday, August 27th.  Once again this year, the race has the distinction of being a ABR National Championship Race.  

The bicycle races begin at the Twilight Criterium VII at 4 pm on Saturday, August 26th in the Oakwood Park area along Winfield Road, south of Geneva Road.  Races on Sunday, August 27th, begin at 8:30 am and will continue throughout the afternoon in the Town Center at Creekside Park, Winfield Road south of Beecher Street. These races are for all levels of expertise … professional, citizen, juniors and kids.  A crowd favorite is the Kids Races for bikers under 12 years of age.  These races will begin at 1:30 pm on Sunday, August 27th at Creekside Park.   Kids race on big wheels, bicycles, tricycles as family and friends cheer them on to the finish line.
