[Imc-radio] IMC Membership Mtg Sat. 4 PM

This is a reminder that the semi-annual IMC General Membership Meeting
will be this coming Saturday, April 5 at 4 PM.
 
This meeting is an opportunity for the entire membership to come
together and meet face to face to deal with the biggest issues facing
the IMC.  Primary on our agenda is the issue of finding a permanent home
for the IMC.  This is probably the most critical  issue facing the IMC
now and in the near future, so everyone's input and participation is
vitally necessary.
 
A one-hour capital campaign meeting will happen just before the
membership meeting at 3:00 PM.  If we are going to raise the money
necessary to buy a space the IMC needs wide participation in this effort
- not just the same few people who already have lots of volunteer
commitments at the  IMC.  
 
If you're going to work on just one effort at IMC this year, you should
consider making it the capital campaign.
 
The U-C IMC is arguably the most democratic media organization in the
area.  One way we make good on the democratic promise is through open
membership meetings and direct community involvement.
 
Everyone is welcome at the membership meeting, and at every IMC meeting.
Bring a friend or two and spread the gift of Indymedia!
