Peace Journalism - Sep 27-Dec 17 2004 - Distance Learning Course

This training course will aim to introduce students to peace journalism
and how it differs from war journalism. Topics include understanding
conflict analysis, media activism, and censorship. The registration
deadline is September 17, 2004.

Event Details:  Coordinated by the Transcend Peace University, this
training course will aim to introduce students to peace journalism and how
it differs from war journalism.

Jake Lynch and Annabel McGoldrick are scheduled to be the instructors.
"Lynch is an experienced international reporter in TV and print media,
currently working mainly for BBC News in London. McGoldrick chairs
'Reporting the World' discussions for journalists in London. She is an
experienced reporter and producer in radio and television."
