Hi Ondine,

We've missed you at the meetings. I had a made the suggestion that you 
interview Carol Spindel who I recently met after reading one of her books, 
Dancing at Halftime, which rocked my world and gave me a whole new 
perspective on racism.

She has a really interesting perspective on the state of the Chief debates 
and how the loss of Nancy Cantor affects these.  She thinks the UI is in 
trouble - they are going to have a hard time bringing in good candidates 
for chancellor with the Chief still installed at UI.
