[Imc-radio] ?phone clipping

Can anyone suggest why phone interviews that I do are clipping? Actually 
they aren't clipping in the dialouge box that shows the levels while the 
interview is going on... but they are clipped when the appear in the sound 
wave strip... and sound really awful. Actually I don't know if clipping is 
the right word... but they appear flat at the top and bottom. I have an 
interview scheduled with Barrak Obama regarding healthcare legislation and 
need to know today if possible.
