On today's program Sandra Ahten interviews Jeannie Striegel about her 
work in a no kill animal shelter and the humane society in general.

The G8 are holding a summit in Perthshire, Scottland a the Gleneagles 
Hotel from July 6-8, 2005.  Activists converged in Glasgow on the 23rd 
of April to prepare to make their voices heard by the G8 and the 
oppressive business policies they represent.  This series of talks was 
titled "Voices from Africa" and it was a conference at Caledonian 
University, Glasgow.
