Hi,
Yes we should meet soon.
When is good for people? Saturday? Tomorrow afternoon?

Also, Zach what version did you get of active did you install? Did you get
it off cat.org.au? There have been rapid changes so I think we can use
more recent versions.

I had mailed some of the tech folks to ask about the possibility of just
getting set up on one of the global imc servers - i first got a "no" b/c
they were waiting on a new server to come in and then got a "yes" from
someone else. I had though that the second person would come through, but
they didn't. I have followed up, but no response, so I don't know what
happened.

There are 14 other cities/areas on the waiting list to be set up
(including Palestine) so I don't really feel like badgering them further.

I will ask again about the URL, since that seems pretty trivial.
They were having problems with one of their dns servers resulting
in instability of nameserving for cities using that machine, though, so
hopefully that's been resolved.

I would really like to see us get a good site up. i think if we spent an
afternoon collectively we could give it our best shot, and if we couldn't
get it going, then I'd be satisfied to do something else.
I think first impressions to the public are really valuable, and I'd like
to see us start with a bang. No one's going to care if we upgrade in 3
months and have a much better site then, imho.

So, tomorrow? Saturday?

 -Molly
