Hi Jim (et al.),

It's good to hear that San Diego IMC is getting focused on the tech side
of things. I agree, the raid on raisethefist is quite troubling. We've
been working to set up a local mirror of our website -- though up until
recently we were more worried about hardware failure than raids, but I
think it's all the more important now. I have yet to hear what the exact
charges are that led to the raid -- have you heard anything on your end?

As for the UCIMC tech group, we can always be reached at: tech at ucimc.org
(I've cc-ed the list on this e-mail also). On the list are folks far more
knowledgeable than I about how we could go about mirroring each-others
sites. But hopefully this e-mail will help get the ball rolling.

If you don't hear back from folks in a couple days, let me know and I'll
talk with folks individually. Hopefully we could be mirroring each other
fairly soon.

Take care,

--Sascha
