FYI:

OJC is beginning a search for a part-time Sys Admin position ($12-15/hr.).
The start date would be around early to mid-August and a brief description
of the position follows:

The Systems Administrator works under the direction of the Technology
Director to support the company system administration activities.

Tasks include but are not limited to:
§	oversee the company’s internet connectivity, email, DNS, and web serving
§	maintain and upgrade server and workstation hardware, perform
troubleshooting and upgrades
§	configure development environments for client projects (MySQL, CVS,
Bugzilla)
§	maintain users and permissions: add users and passwords, set and fix
permissions
§	perform routine backups of servers and select workstations and Palm pilots
§	perform Windows, Mac, and Linux workstation software upgrades and tweaks
§	help consolidate, standardize and create documentation for OJC staff and
procedures for OJC sysadmins
§	help create an inventory system for OJC-owned computer hardware and
software
§	help create calendars of routine sysadmin activities
§	help create reports (cpu load, disk usage) from system log data
§	research software packages for possible use
§	prepare and execute training sessions for staff
§	research and prepare purchasing recommendations
§	design and perform new system configurations
§	work as a systems administration consultant through OJC on client projects
§	work as a programming/technical consultant on client projects when
available and qualified
