I don't know how the one-port modem is configured.  As far as
acceptable brands, it's more of a question of getting a modem that
does the correct framing for SolTec.  Zach has dealt with them before,
so he likely knows what they need.

I believe we have a /29 (or we did when we had a four port modem), so
yes, it should.  Again, Zach is the guy to ask, esp. w.r.t. debian.
