in light of this i contacted volo.  they do things a bit differently
and charge per gig per day.  in an attempt to try and figure out an
estimated monthly cost, i was hoping i could get the daily use of the
server at zacks house.  the easiest way would be to log the device
twice with 24 hrs in between.  they also have are have the option of
co-locating a server within their data center which has a lower per
gig rate for internet traffic as well as traffice between
interconnected nodes.  when i get the numbers sorted i will pitch this
to the list for everyone to take a look at.
