I still haven't head any response about Problem 1, but I just
solved problem 2 myself.
Problem 2: I was wrong, SSI directives are not broken, they seem to
have been working fine all along.
The real problem was: After the April 25 disk crash ,when I restored
the website files from my svn repository, the execute bits on the
SSI-using files needed to be set. I should have earlier set
svn:executable property for the files that need their execute
permission preserved. (Execute bit is needed for the SSI Xbithack
option to work, but svn generally does not preserve any permissions
bits without instructions to do so, even then can only preserve
permissions bit).
Problem 1: Still unsolved: where are the error logs and the access
logs for thebikeproject.org ?
Cheers,
Barry
