That's great news. Good work!

A few pieces of follow-up.

Before you buy anything, you should get a copy of our state tax exempt 
certificate, as this will prevent the purchases from being charged sales 
tax. Give the vendor this number and this usually avoids that. Sometimes 
they ask for a copy of the certificate or that you fill out their own 
form with the info. Joy can get you a copy of this. Or does the 
University have some sort of arrangement that avoids sales taxes?

I noticed that SORF funded 75% of the request, but I'm not aware of any 
matching funds available for the other 25%, so the list should be 
revised to reflect what is actually purchased. It's possible that the 
RFU funds allocated for portable audio recording gear could help make up 
some of that, but we'd need to start that conversation and it might 
complicate accounting for things if we commingled IMC SORF funds with 
RFU funds to purchase gear.

You'll also need to provide copies of all the grant paperwork and 
receipts to IMC-Finance so this can be accounted for internally and for 
external audits. It would be good also to have a list of all serial numbers.

Although I realize that you'll be using this equipment on projects 
you're working on, info should be available for how other IMC members 
can use the equipment, as well as where it will be stored and secured 
and who to contact for access..
