[UCIMC-Tech] Re: [rfu-tech] WRFU tech issues - need help

I've just sent them to the lists - I don't know who on each list is
able to deal with each task, and who has time available to help at
the moment.

My plan was to track responses from those who tell me they can and
will deal with one task or another, and send an update to the lists
letting people know which tasks remain, which are in progress, and
which are resolved. However, a more formal ranking may be useful, so
here's something:

TASKS (in order of urgency):
1 STUDIO COMPUTER - isn't booting, preventing transmitter readings
from being taken. URGENT. Station will have to go off-air if we can't
resolve this quickly. I need information on progress, and urgent help
to troubleshoot and fix our issues here. I lack the tech skills to
accomplish this myself.
2 REMOTE ACCESS: Access for Ray Morales and myself to tunnel through
the firewall.
2a Information: address for automation computer, once through
firewall, other settings; what account user/pass combinations to use.
2b My chambana account - reset password.
3 PHONE LINE - OJC has donated use of a line to us, for business
purposes, but I don't know it, or how to access the voicemail.
3a I need to know the number and how to access voicemail
3b We need a mailing list, to which voicemail notifications will be
sent. I can administer this once set up.
4 The wrfu.net site is misreporting "what's on air now" - presumably
because the server is not on daylight savings time.

INFORMATION (Not necessarily ordered - help where you can)
1 Who's currently active in IMC-TECH and RFU-TECH, and areas of
competence. Are there individuals who can directly take questions on
specific topics, or am I always best directing questions/requests to
the lists?
2 Who in WRFU currently has remote access - that is, who has the
ability to tunnel into the firewall and then access the automation
computer (and others).
3 Transmitter-check devices. Anyone got information on this area, or
interested in researching solutions?
4 Production room development - who's involved, what's involved. I
want to ensure appropriate WRFU input into this project, and want to
know which groups/lists/individuals I should be in contact with.

Thanks to everyone in advance for their help - I know it's a large
and varied bundle of tasks to throw out there, but I'm trying to get
up to speed on our systems, with a view to involving more people in
various areas of operation and development.
