It sounds like a good proposal to me.  As long as the screenings are
staffed, there is very little likelihood of damage, and with simple film
screenings, there is already less liability than a concert.  The Shows group
could manage the projector securely in its equipment room.  It would indeed
be useful for films, concerts, presentations, workshops, and more.
