[Community] Re: [UCIMC-Tech] An idea for our website

Hi everyone,

I think all of these ideas sound great. There have been a lot of ideas
around this stuff lately, but I haven't had much time to act on them
personally. However, I think it's time to move forward with major changes to
the way that many of the IMC's websites work. I should have some time this
weekend to put some of the framework in place, and then maybe we should have
some kind of a hack session for tossing around ideas and doing some
implementation. If we have a good number of tech savvy people there, perhaps
we can even get some work done in building it. Right now I'll create a
googledoc and toss my ideas for web infrastructure on it (something that
though I haven't had much time to work on I have been thinking about in
depth for a long time), and we can all put in our ideas and feature
requests. I'll add everyone on this CC list to the googledoc, if you got
this message through one of the mailinglists, send me an email and I'll add
you to it.
