Marti,

Take it to Radio Doctors on First Street in Champaign.  They are right
by Fiesta Café.  I had a similar problem with my Powerbook that they
were able to fix, and it cost *way* less than the $450 that another
local company had estimated.  They will charge you a reasonable fee for
an estimate.
