[UCIMC-Tech] Remote Access for Bookkeeper/Treasurer

You know what, Beth? I purchased, with my own money, a laptop so I could
dedicate one specific to IMC work to connect remotely. I purchased antivirus
software for it. I even purchased the printer/copier/fax machine in the
finance office. I made copies so finance stuff did not go off site. I did
all of these things to enable remote access -- years ago. We HAD remote
access. I did not perceive it. It existed. Jason and I were very able to
keep up with the mountain of work at that time. Fixing remote access would
have gone a long way to support what we do. I have been asking for months. I
won't ask again.
My last day as bookkeeper/office manager is October 8. I do hope that
everyone will get on board and quit trying to "direct," without working with
or attending finance, and instead support the work that the finance group
does. I'm confident that these "self appointed directors" will now get in
the office and do the work that needs to be done!
