[UCIMC-Tech] Internet for second floor

Mike,
Thanks. Yeah, it does suck. It would be nice to say that we do offer
building-wide wifi. Fortunately the situation will be improving immensely
as long as I can get some heads down time over the next month to finish up
work on the new wireless network plan. It involves placing them in less
conspicuous and/or accessible places so that they can't just be unplugged &
snapped up. I've printed out building maps of each floor and have
identified such locations where receptacles already exist, and where we'd
either need a receptacle or where a router powered over ethernet would be
advised. The Elm street hall is one of those areas.  If things go well, we
could potentially look at offering tenants secure wifi access for an
additional premium that would go back to tech.
