[UCIMC-Tech] concerns over social networking tools being outsourced

I agree with Brians sentiments for the long term, but I think we can be
involved in securing access to all.accounts as an interim step, then turn
them over to outreach folks. I think there is.also.space for tech to
facilitate aggregation of content from these accounts to/from our websites.

I understand and that the concerns folks are bringing up must be
addressed. I'm not sure that getting Tech involved in managing these
accounts is necessary.

These accounts are for general IMC outreach coordinators. The
maintenance of these accounts is the responsibility of their creators
and users. Tech can provide advice and pointers on how to securely
manage and share access to these accounts, but we should not maintain or
transfer login information.

I'd be more than happy to discuss modern, secure password management
tools and how outreach coordinators can use these tools to manage and
share access to these accounts with Isak, Kristina, and whoever else is
interested. Is this something folks would like to do?

Thanks
Brian
