If there was an alarm showing for the transmitter, I think the only 
thing that would show that would be the Nicom monitor app. So it may not 
be deleted. Or it was deleted in order to stop the alarm from showing (a 
really dumb idea)?

What has happened before was that the wiring was pulled loose from the 
computer. It may only be that, but check that first, after verifying the 
Nicom program wasn't deleted of course.
