[IMC-US-tech] RE: [IMC-US] Re: Acorn Active Media Worker Collective Offer: (Sascha Meinrath)

Folks,

Believe me, I want to see this project come to fruition as much as anyone,
and i totally respect and appreciate all the effort tech folks put into
making things happen. Without them we are a blank screen. I think my
response speaks for itself (see below). Since Acorn IS Indy folks, why
couldn't they do the work as all of us do it? I've been a paid journalist
on-and-off for 30 years, but i've never expected Indy to do a feature on me
and others in the editing team and all the hours we've spent over the years
pounding on the keyboard, nor do I expect Indy to further my career, such as
it is, by advertising for me. It just seems to me not in the spirit of our
egalitarian structure. Can anyone understand what i'm saying?
