I just dealt with a series of 5 comments, done in the space of five 
minutes. They're subdued now, but I wanted to pass along the problem 
origination IP, which is 84.113.143.30

My only curiosity is whether or not it's local, as the text that was 
used as a decoy for the ad links was all modestly relevant to the 
articles they were posted in. Maybe that's a slick new robot or it's 
really from some impoverished internet backwater where they know 
English, but who can affordably concoct spam text. If it's local, it 
might be worth pursuing in some fashion to deal with what is a growing 
pattern of abuse.
