[Imc-web] PT trial edits, etc.

Hello,

Forgive my lurking. I really shouldn't care since I'm not a ucimc editor
and I haven't posted/commented on ucimc in a very long time, but this is
getting ridiculous. First of all, Brian, it's a hallmark of good journalism
for writers to edit their articles and consider the consequences of what
they write before publishing. If on the (hopefully) rare occasion something
really needs editing, then have someone who knows what they're doing do the
correction. Secondly, it seems like a bad policy that editors have the
authority to feature their own articles. It would be a good idea to run it
past another editor (and the list) first. Third, editors should be trained
before being turned loose. Fourth, isn't there any way to document who
creates and edits articles? Where I work, everytime someone creates or
edits a record, it gets stamped with who created it, who edited it last, and
when. That's all I have for now.
