[Imcfest-volunteers] IMCfest/Shows Work Meeting, Tonight 6PM

Hey all,
There will be a work meeting tonight to finish off anything left for
this weekend's IMCfest (http://www.imcfest.org).  Below I have some of
the stuff to focus on (there is something for everyone no matter what
your previous knowledge of the space is) and am probably missing a
bunch but this will get us started.  Feel free to add to the list.
Some of this may already be done, but I want to make sure :)

-=Space Wide=-
* Sweep
* Clean up and store anything left out
* Hang art in empty spaces
* Empty trash cans
* Put out recycle bins
* Put out the tire signs in the basement
* Make the space wonderful!

-=Sound Booth=-
* Organize the rack and board cables
* Properly label the board for any common or problem areas
* Do a sound test with known good prerecorded audio and live with
available equipment
* Setup house and monitor EQ's
* Print out schedules and cell phone #'s of contacts for Sound Tech

-=Stage=-
* Move the piano off the stage to somewhere
* Move the windows in the corner off the stage somewhere
* Test all mic's and cables that will be used
* Look into backlining a drum set
* Create a list of any cosmetic items we might want/need to purchase
* Do a one over on the amp rack and speakers
* Print out schedules and cell phone #'s of contacts to tape on the
back of main speakers

-=Back Stage=-
* Number/label both ends of the XLR cables we are going to use
* Identify and separate all cables (XLR, 1/4", power strips) and
equipment we will use often
* Figure out the best way to create a divider for the off stage right
area (in front of the bathroom)
* Create a list of any equipment/cable and other items we might
want/need to purchase
* Train anyone who needs
* Print out schedules and cell phone #'s of contacts to put around
back stage areas

-=Loading Dock=-
* Make sure it's as cleaned out as possible
* Print schedules to tape up in a visible area

-=Front Door
* Setup front booth table
* Find and set out stamps, wrist bands
* Go over front door policy and create documents to print out
* Print out schedules and cell phone #'s of contacts

-=Food Service Space=-
* Make sure its all cleaned out and we have plenty of tables
* Print out schedules and cell phone #'s of contacts

-=Basement=-
* Clean and organize the bathroom
* Figure out the best way to create a divider to keep people from
going away from the bathroom hallway
* Setup the Green room (Family Room)
* Print out schedules and cell phone #'s of contacts to put around
