hey, william!  if you want to put video on the web, you can use sergei.
that's this video editing computer over at OJC.  Has video capture,
streaming video, sound recording and editing (though not in MP3 yet, but
that can change if there's a need, since the software is free somewhere),
and all that.  i've been wanting to learn more about streaming
video/audio, so perhaps this would be a chance for me to learn!
don't have a video camera, but Kord does.  i'm sure he'd love to help, if
available.  soundwise, recording the event with Minidisc would be best but
an Aiwa tape deck will do, (in a pinch, of course) and then transfering
to Realaudio or MP3, both have advantages/disadvantages, though MP3 seems
to be gaining popularity.

egads, a new trend:  streaming poetry readings!
