Your Aunt Barb's Personality List of 1999

In looking back at the year behind us, the most notable personality in the
Neighborhood was Mabel Eggerton.  Mabel spent most of 1999 insisting that
the Pope and the Archbishop of Canterbury live in an old can of Sanka that
she emptied out in 1982, but never got around to throwing away.  This is
the first time she has looked to see exactly what was in the can in about
fifteen years, although why she never pitched it remains a mystery.  I
told her about ten years ago that, if she kept it much longer, it would be
an antique and she could get a lot of money for it.  Now she says that
there's both a Pope and an Archbishop in there, and the damn can is
blessed, so she can't throw it out.  You're off your rocker, Mabel, but
my hat is off in the proverbial to you anyway.  Now come get your headless
gnome off my goddamn lawn!
