"Winter Wonderland", revised

Sehvilla Mann

In the street, cars are crashing
On the people, slush is splashing
A terrible blight,
We're soggy tonight,
walking in a winter horrorland.

Gone away, is good feeling
Here to stay, is the screaming
as our fingers freeze,
in a December breeze,
walking in a winter horrorland.

In the meadow we can build a snowman
And we'll use a lot of yellow snow*
When we find out why it's yellow we'll say "no, man!
outdoor entertainment really blows!"

Later on, things are dire
as our chestnuts catch on fire
Our fingers they burn
as we each take our turn
cooking in a winter horrorland.

* snow that dogs (or whatever) have peed on. mmm...
