Actually, at one time I was on the State Committee of the Socialist
Party.  I left the Party because of their uncompromising pacifism,
something that probably wouldn't bother most of you.  That Central
America thing was going on then, and I must say that I fully supported
the Sandinistas and the various rebel groups in their choice to
militarily resist the contras and Death Squads.

I could surely vote for David, though.  I don't know what the ballot
status in Illinois is; the Dems and 'pubs pretty much try to keep
competing parties out of the race with very restictive laws.
