Cut Your Losses

Oh missile defense, you are not working out.
The plans we drew up looked so good when on paper.
What the hell did we think? Accuracy is hard.
Why don’t you try to stop a bullet with a bullet.
It’s damned near impossible.
Take my word for it.
You don’t even want to look at the math involved.
Oh well, we tried.  We gave it all we had.
But the best defense,
Is no warheads at all.
