A $338 Trillion Fable

Once upon a time, there was a $43,208 flower that grew next to a
$75,993 rock. Every day the $337.65 trillion sun would shine down on
it. One day a $4.2 billion cloud blew over the $337.65 trillion sun,
hurling dozens of $1,427,332 lightning bolts at the ground. Soon
millions of $1.69 raindrops began to fall on the $43,208 flower and
the $75,993 rock. The $43,208 flower was scared that it was going to
drown. "Help," it called to a passing $12 ant. "I'm drowning!"

"Don't worry," replied the $12 ant. It followed a $67 trail back to
its $5,435 anthill and told some other $12 ants about the $43,208
flower's predicament, who told the $179.95 queen. "Go get a $98 leaf
and shield the $43,208 flower from the $1.69 raindrops!" she said.

The $12 ants climbed up the $760,347 tree and out to the end of one of
its $795.99 branches and clipped off a $98 leaf with their $.55
pincers. Soon they had reached the $75,993 rock which they climbed so
that they could hold the $98 leaf over the $43,208 flower, protecting
it from the $1.69 raindrops.

"Thank you," said the $43,208 flower, shaking the remaining $1.69
raindrops from its $2,387 petals. Soon the $4.2 billion cloud had
blown away and the $337.65 trillion sun began to shine again. The
$43,208 flower looked beside it and saw that a $237 seedling had
popped up beside it. The $43,208 flower knew that, nourished by the
$1.69 raindrops, it would soon grow into a beautiful $35,287 flower.
