I haven't been on television, but I have created some web pages and I
look over the headlines on CNN everyday, so I think I should give my
opinion about the Presidential race.

My final analysis:

Three states have still to decide the person they want for President.
After recounting again and again, Florida has confirmed that Nader has
indeed lost the Presidency.

Since we are addled with an antiquated, error-prone voting system, we
should resolve the issue of who gets Florida in a similarly antiquated
way. Instead of such conventional methods as, oh say, splitting the
electoral votes giving the extra vote to the person with the 0.016% lead
or for one of these selfless civil servants conceding for the good of the
electorate. Gore and Bush should joust for the great state of Florida!

Bush and Gore would mount their mighty steeds and charge towards each
other during the winter solstace while we sacrifice a virgin to the sun
god to assure the return of the sun and a good harvest next autumn.

The action would climax when the weaker man is knocked off his horse and
the maces come out! There will be no ambiguity who the winner is, since
the loser will certainly not live to contest the outcome.

A festival ideed! A mighty leader for a mighty country!
