[Newspoetry] prompting theater

so, halloween is fast approaching. in the past, the prompting theater has
held a haunted house fundraiser. last year due to space it was cancelled.
this year, i attempted to hook up with the clamcenter to do a joint
fundraiser, but that didn't quite work for this year. due to an
overwhelming interest in the haunted theater (from clients at dsc), we
have built a mini-haunted theater at dsc in the lunchroom there. however,
this is not officially a fundraiser, or open to the public (despite the
overwhelming community interest as well....i've received lots of phone
calls from people asking if we're still doing it this year). however, if
people are interested in attending, the haunted house will be open from 10
am until around 3 pm (not long, i know, but it' not supposed to be open to
the community). if people show up, we won't turn you away...but be
careful that you don't understand this message as an invitation (or else i
once again become the "evil staff worker who doesn't respect authority").
of course, the haunted house is really cool, and rather scary, and it
would be sad to miss....but this isn't an invitation, right? ok, so long
as people know this isn't an invitation, then everythings cool, and if you
show up it's only because you were curious to see if the prompting theater
was having it's haunted house again...since you hadn't seen any
advertisements for it....get it? evil, i'm just soooo evil! buwahahaha!

happy halloween.
