"behind the call"

God bless you

God bless you for keeping him off the streets
wise-why not

God bless you for sustaining a forum for free speech
wise-until today

the clouds roll in
and the boss who brought them there
eager to cover his tracks
and shroud his tarnished image

sews shut the mouths of his eyes ears and pens
in favour of perpetuating his lie

covers the eyes of the youths out searching for the truth
and steals their identities

barrages the ears of the legion of truth
but fails to vanquish them

and the story breaks
in hopes that one days
man may again find hope in the call
