[Gavroche]

residuals

I write computer programs
for a fortune 500 company.
I wrote several last year
and they are run 
and re-run daily.
I'd like to continue
receiving money for this work.
Thanks to the news I even have a word
to explain this to my boss.
"Residuals."  Unfortunately
this is a term my boss
is unfamiliar with.
"What have you done for me lately?"
he asks.
I'm in the wrong business.



character assassination continues

What were Kerrey's orders
Over 30 years ago?
His word against those
Of a fellow Navy SEAL.
Slander as news.
Malicious intent
Impossible to prove.
Politics as usual
