ATTENTION:  
NEW SCA CHAPTER FORMING!
The Society for Creative Anachronism is developing a new group dedicated
to reliving the Cold War.  Participants will have the chance to:
	
Engage in mock high-level security talks
start arguments at the UN
take part in congressional debates
watch and practice "Duck and Cover"
give fiery speeches in a number of languages insulting the manhood of
superpower rivals while surrounded by people wearing dark sunglasses
stage military coups
pace in from of large banks of machinery covered in buttons, gauges, and
dials
rehearse launch sequences
give press conferences regarding "the Red Menace" and "American
imperialism"
propose and discuss missile shield technology

And re-enact such great historical events as:

the McCarthy hearings
The Korean conflict, the Vietnam War, the Cuban Missile crisis, and the
Bay of Pigs
Khrushchev's shoe-banging at the UN
the Rosenberg's execution 
the U2 spy plane fiasco
the shootings at Kent State
the Iran-Contra Affair
the Crack epidemic
every presidential election since the end of WWII
