The End of History

Occurred at approximately 5 P.M.
Last night. The much ballyhooed
Event turned out to be a disappointment,
CNN Reported, "Only a few people turned
Out for it, and none of them even
Had lighters to hold up."

"It was a bummer, man," one of the
Protesters against the end of history
Reported, "nobody was singing songs or
Smoking pot or anything. I thought there
Would be a lot more togetherness and
Love and all that, and that
We would change the world or
Something. Keep it going, you know?
I mean, history was a big
Deal, you know?"
