It's not just US.

The Pope called the US Cardinals to the Vatican
And declared the child abuse in America
A crime.  And praised the American Cardinals
For dealing with this crime.  In America.

One begins to wonder if the Pope
Has for the moment forgotten
About the cases in Ireland.
Ireland which isn't in America

Last time I checked.  And
Perhaps the cases in France,
Austria, Poland, Britain, and Germany
Have also slipped his mind..

Maybe it's not the Pope,
But the US press that's focusing
On the priests in America.
Which isn't unusual,

Americans in general
Don't focus on events
Outside of their own continent.
We need to look deeply,

To learn that this is happening
In other parts of the world.
That it's not just US
Who have a problem.
