[Newspoetry] Starting Writing

I should explain: I starting writing
makes of course no grammatical sense
but I have always viewed my presence
on the newspoetry list as a kind of
purgative -- a sort of lax-itive
gainst careful writing and I was
disheartened by the poor count
I say poor count because I would
count the days of a month and
multiply them by two and then
set that as a standard for the
number of messages that should
be sent to a list such as newspoetry
in any given month and counted the
month of August as a kind of
tragedy when there has been
so much news sure I account
this to a general sense of ennui
nausea attention to gardening
concerns etc. and two gerunds
together are likewise a crime
of some kind against language
--but--
I count you for news is what
I am saying and the Futrelle
is uncertain. So my apologies
this is a form of spam
a word which has both discredited
and reintroduced into the common
tongue
a product made mainly of tongues
and assholes and almost certainly
your poems won't stop the coming
war or reduce the hypocrisy of the
wellintentioned mourning we
will all experience in the
coming fortnight but I say
--but--
you should not be ashamed
anyway I'm not ashamed
of my word-dump
my uncareful word-dump
into the seeiayhstreemternet
though I apologize for the
lack of profundity and indeed the
double gerund(s)
but that won't stop me from
sharing my feelings
feelings my sharings
