2001 YB5
we're so glad to be alive
ground zero here is just a dot
and we are flies you didn't swat

YB5 2001
your orbiting around our sun
brings you so close, and yet so far
we wish upon a shooting star

in Hollywood you'd be the villian
which hunks in spacesuits'd be a killin'
but YB5, we'd scarcely spotted
you, your orbit plotted

when you, high-minded, passed us by
the cosmic blink of cosmic eye
and we, dinosaurs with bombs
did random searches, carried on
