Taliban and Qaeda Believed Plotting Within Pakistan

Virtually the entire senior leadership of Al Qaeda and the
Taliban have been driven out of eastern Afghanistan and are
now operating with as many as 1,000 non-Afghan fighters in
the anarchic tribal areas of western Pakistan, the commander
of American-led forces in Afghanistan said on Monday.

Giving George the Third the (Thunder)Bird

I'd say that I am shocked, but not saddened,
I'd say that I am pleased, but not overjoyed.

There shall be Ph.D. dissertations to write,
paperback best sellers, even comic books,
about how our military might and majesty
knocked down a cock-eyed bin Laden army,
full of cock-a-mania like a strutting peacock,
who plucked its feathers for a fancier nest.

Contrast will draw last gasp of bankrupt Soviets,
who blew into Afghani campaign quite stupidly,
to prove regular armies are relics for parades,
to fight other armies in mock-turtle charades,
and quite pointless in fighting popular causes,
albatrosses that fly over a coo-coup's nest.

If Bush wanted a disarmament campaign goal,
let me suggest dismantling all regular armies
would be a flight fit for a lone eagle to pursue.
Rumsfeld also had a fledgling good idea: to kill
the too-stupid-even-to-think-about-it weapon,
the Generation-X battlefield cannon program.

What history shows is that big wars are over,
so let us we beard old tailfeather operations
of bloated Satanic bestiary (the Pentagon).
Teach old bird dogs new bird dog shtick:
We ain't gonna study no big war, no more,
for it ain't got a chance in hell of happening.

No, we ain't gonna study Big War, no more,
because we gonna study blitzkrieg AirWar:
Future foes will have no profile or concentration,
as they become our new zero terrorist targets
and build no nests in which eggs get broken.

The War on Terrorism is entirely over and we won!
That's really a truth that no Republican can sing,
for Republicans hate Doves more than anything.
Isn't it a strange world, where an Administration
can not face reality for it fears election defeat?

What is almost shocking, as well, and saddening,
is that not a single bird-brain Washington Democrat
has yet figured out that the War OverThere is Over:
The Democrats fear to chirp of new dawning Peace,
even though this might help them win elections.

Ravin' Nader might review NeverMore conspiracy,
that Democrats might be too stupid to be complicit,
that fall of Democratic party is due to its penguins,
who became convinced that flying ensured survival,
and were eaten, one by one, by hungry sea-lions.
.
Aviary, Maria: robins, wrens and finches, oh my.

Thanks for listening,
Donald L Emerick
